From Policies to Programming - Let the Evidence Speak: The number of refugees in the world continues to grow at an unprecedented rate, and political leaders are adapting to this new reality. For refugee and IDP youth, access to education is but the first step on their journey. After this follows the challenges of finding pathways towards the labor market. The international community has much to contribute towards creating more opportunities for refugees and IDPs to find employment. This can include policy level changes and measures such as addressing the economic, social and structural challenges in host countries’ contexts, including unemployment rates, and the overall investment climate.
